Getting Started

Converting your bank statements to CSV format is quick and easy. Follow these simple steps:

  1. Upload Your Statement: Click the upload button or drag and drop your bank statement (PDF, JPG or PNG) file. Basic users can upload one file at a time. Essential, Plus, and Premium subscribers can upload multiple files at once (up to 10 files for batch processing).
  2. Wait for Processing: Our AI-powered system will analyze your statement and extract all transaction data. This usually takes just a few seconds per file.
  3. Review Your Data: Once processing is complete, you'll see a preview of the extracted transactions. Review the data to ensure accuracy.
  4. Download Your CSV: Click the download button to save your CSV file. For batch uploads (subscribers only), you'll receive a ZIP file containing all converted statements.

Tips for Best Results

  • Use Original Files: Original digital statements (PDF or images) from your bank typically convert more accurately than scanned documents.
  • Check File Quality: If using scanned documents (PDF, JPG or PNG), ensure the text is clear and readable. Poor quality scans may result in lower accuracy.
  • Review Your Data: Always review the converted CSV file before using it for important financial purposes.
  • One Statement Per File: For best results, upload one complete statement per file (PDF, JPG or PNG) rather than combining multiple statements.
  • File Size Limits: Keep individual files under 10MB. For batch uploads, ensure the total size of all files is under 50MB.
  • Standard Formats: While we support many formats, standard bank statement layouts typically convert with the highest accuracy.

Account Management

Manage your Statementsify account through the account settings page. From there, you can:

  • Update your profile information and password
  • View your conversion history and usage statistics
  • Manage your subscription and billing information
  • Download your data or delete your account

Rate Limits

To ensure fair usage and maintain service quality, we implement rate limits:

  • Anonymous Users: 5 pages total (lifetime limit), one file at a time
  • Basic Users: 5 pages total (lifetime limit), one file at a time
  • Essential Subscribers: 75 pages per month (resets on subscription anniversary), with batch processing (up to 10 files at once)
  • Plus Subscribers: 1,000 pages per month (resets on subscription anniversary), with batch processing (up to 10 files at once)
  • Premium Subscribers: 3,000 pages per month (resets on subscription anniversary), with batch processing (up to 10 files at once)

Basic plan limits are lifetime (5 pages total ever). Paid plan limits (Essential, Plus, Premium) reset on your subscription anniversary date. Only Essential, Plus, and Premium subscribers have access to batch processing for converting multiple files simultaneously. Basic users who attempt to select multiple files will be prompted to subscribe.
